In a unexpected crossover event that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited rituals and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.
The adventure focuses on "strange experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an unique katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
